Day 1 In the Books

 How was your first day of school?

In the meantime, here is some additional information for the rest of your first week.

1. Homeroom is extended to 8:04 for the rest of the week.
2. Juniors will have a class meeting during Tribe Time on Wednesday.
3. Sophomores will meet during Tribe Time on Thursday.
4. The Freshman Class will meet on Friday during Tribe Time.
5. Lunch WILL begin to run more smoothly.

A reminder - Be sure to return your Internet permission forms ASAP.

Welcome Back!

Many of us are eagerly anticipating the opening of the new Donegal High School.  My hope is that many of you will attend the open house being held Sunday, August 26, 2012, from 1:00 - 4:30 pm.  The doors will open at approximately 12:40. 

Our opening day will be one to remember.  To give you a heads up for what will be going on, the schedule for August 28 is as follows:

 7:15  -  7:50    Breakfast & Explore the building
 7:54  -  8:20    Homeroom
 8:30  -  9:26    School Assembly
 9:30  - 10:10   Period 1
10:14 - 10:53   Period 2
10:57 - 12:51   Period 3 (including lunch)
12:55  -  2:16    Period 4
 2:20  -  2:45    Tribe Time (senior class meeting)

High Jump - Sports Science

While watching the Olympics this past week, I remembered seeing an awesome clip that broke down the science of the high jump.  Instantly, I thought of the many high jumpers who have allowed me to help them improve.  This one's for you.
